Privacy Policy

1. Who operates Visit Ajloun

Visit Ajloun is operated by ألفا للخدمات, with its official address at الأردن – عجلون – شارع الصناعة والتجارة.

For privacy questions, support, user-rights requests, or requests to correct or remove establishment information or media, contact visitajloun@gmail.com.

2. No account required

Ordinary tourist use of Visit Ajloun does not require an account or sign-in. The app does not maintain ordinary-user profiles or provide an ordinary-user account-deletion feature because no ordinary public account is created.

If account features are introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy and the relevant user controls will be updated before those features are made available.

3. Information and device capabilities used

Optional foreground location

Location is optional and is requested only when you choose a location-based feature, such as centering the map on your position. The app may request approximate or precise location while you are using it. Visit Ajloun does not request or use background location.

Your location is used to provide the requested feature. Map requests may also communicate the area being viewed and ordinary technical request information to the map service provider.

Tourism, map, weather, Offers, and Events data

The app retrieves tourism information and images from Visit Ajloun services. It may also request map information from a third-party map provider, weather information for Ajloun from a third-party weather provider, and moderated Offers and Events from a Visit Ajloun-owned service.

These services may receive ordinary technical information needed to respond to requests, such as an IP address, request time, device or app information, and the requested content. Third-party services process information under their applicable terms and privacy policies.

Local storage and offline use

The app stores language, first-run, and offline preferences and may keep local copies of tourism, weather, Offers, and Events information so that content can load efficiently or remain available when connectivity changes.

Local data may remain until it is replaced, you clear the app's data, or you uninstall the app. Some cached information may become stale or cease being displayed before the stored bytes are physically removed. Clearing app data or uninstalling the app removes information held in the app's local storage but does not remove records held by service providers or Visit Ajloun systems.

User-initiated external actions

When you choose Call, WhatsApp, or Directions, the app hands the relevant phone number, address, or map link to the external app or service you select. Visit Ajloun does not place a call, send a message, or start navigation without your action. The external service processes the action under its own terms and privacy policy.

4. Features not currently enabled

The current app does not enable analytics, behavioral tracking, advertising identifiers, advertising SDKs, crash-reporting SDKs, push notifications, background location, contact-list access, camera access, microphone access, or payment processing.

If the implementation later changes to enable any of these features, this Privacy Policy and any required choices or notices will be updated before the change is made available to the public.

5. Why information is used

Information is used only as needed to:

• provide tourism information, images, maps, weather, Offers, and Events;
• provide an optional location-based map experience;
• remember language and app preferences;
• support offline or cached content;
• open user-requested external actions;
• maintain service reliability and security;
• respond to support, privacy, correction, removal, and user-rights requests; and
• comply with applicable legal obligations.

6. Sharing and service providers

Information may be processed by Visit Ajloun's service infrastructure, the selected map and weather providers, device-platform services, and external phone, WhatsApp, or navigation services when you choose to use them.

Visit Ajloun does not sell personal information under the current app implementation. Information may be disclosed where required by law, necessary to protect the service or its users, or needed by service providers acting for the purposes described in this Policy.

7. Retention

Local app data may remain until it is replaced, you clear the app's data, or you uninstall the app. Cached information may become stale or stop being displayed before the underlying bytes are physically removed.

Operational, security, and provider records are retained only as necessary to provide and protect the service, meet legal obligations, and satisfy applicable provider requirements. Tourism, establishment, media, Offers, Events, and related editorial records may be retained as business or content records where needed for accuracy, authorization, licensing, operations, corrections, or legal obligations.

8. Security

Visit Ajloun uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted network connections and validation of information received by the app. No system or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Your choices and rights

You may deny or revoke location permission, clear the app's data, uninstall the app, and leave an external-app action before completing it.

You may contact visitajloun@gmail.com to ask about applicable privacy rights or to request access, correction, objection, deletion or removal, or another right available under applicable law. The same address may be used to request correction or removal of establishment information or media. Visit Ajloun may need to verify a request and may retain information where applicable law or lawful business and content-record obligations require it.

Because ordinary public use does not create an account, ordinary-user account deletion is not applicable.

10. Children and intended audience

Visit Ajloun is a general tourism-information application and is not specifically directed to children. The app does not state a specific minimum age unless one is later required by applicable law or store policy.

11. Governing law

This Privacy Policy is governed by قوانين المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية.

12. Changes to this Policy

This Policy may be updated when the app, its providers, applicable law, or operating practices change. The published copy will show its effective or updated date.
